The Aquaculture Advisory Council (AAC)’s Working Group on Shellfish has written to Director Delilah Al Khudhairi to raise attention about an alarming situation affecting shellfish aquaculture in Italy at the moment: predation by the species Callinectes sapidus, known as the ‘blue crab’.
